Illmitz, Austria.

Christian is making wine from very old vines in the National Park of Neusiedlersee, Burgenland. He works strictly to the beat of the drum of natural forces. Christian allows the vines to see their own path, allowing them to express their own uniqueness through the application of viticulture simply and gently.

In the cellar, the wines are allowed to unfold freely without limitations or additions to encourage balance and purity. These incredible wines are full of the character of the winemaker’s culture and the environment in which he works.

In Christian’s words “Just Run... Everything left to the play of natural forces... no strict order, no fixed rules, no dogma.”
