Sury-en-Vaux, Sancerre.

Taking over from his father in 2004, Sebastien Riffault is making the wildest expressions of Sauvignon Blanc that Sancerre has ever seen. Grown across a number of different vineyards on varying soils of Marl, Gravel and Flint, the wines are pure, mineral and rich.

Sebastien speaks of 3 differing grapes to bring the wines into balance, the green grape offers the searing acidity, the yellow grape brings the wildness and the pink grape the mouth feel and richness.

All the white wines are aged in tank, barrel and bottle for 1 year to complete fermentation and elevage.
